The Uganda Model Program

The model program focuses on establishing standardized methods for introduction, acceptance, and use of a new all-latex barrier product controlled by women.

The model program includes a social marketing component executed through existing public distribution channels. Each host country will perform local clinical trials as a key step in mobilization of their user populations.

The Republic of Uganda is the first country to embrace the model program. Zebra Foundation is working with the Ministry of Health and an assembled team of in-country experts to implement the model program in Uganda.
